FERRARI WORLD FINALS AT MUGELLO (I) 2 – 6 NOVEMBER

Finali Mondiali Ferrari, the event that traditionally brings the Prancing Horse’s racing season to an end, got underway today. Once again the fabolous Mugello Circuit will host the annual Ferrari World Finals. Over the weekend, the Tuscan circuit hosts the deciding rounds of the championships organised by the Ferrari Corse Clienti department, as well as the usual additional race to crown the overall champion at international level.

The busy four day programme sees competitors battle it out in the final rounds of the Italian, European and North American Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli series, before fighting for the world title. Also on the card, the first ever Ferrari Historic Race –Trofeo Shell, a race open to all Ferrari collectors and former participants in the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge, the series for historic cars which ended last year after a fourteen year run. Adding to the spectacle will be non-competitive runs from Formula 1 cars from the past and cars entered in the exclusive FXX and 599XX programmes. Sunday, the final day features demonstrations from the GT cars before a parade by the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team.

Team NeroRosso Racing are all set for a promising weekend with round 6 consisting of two finishing races on Friday and Saturday. The final races ”The World Finals” are held on Sunday and the starting order will be determined by the fastest laps during training sessions on Thursday and Friday. This as the final races are all series four series in one race and last time in Mugello (2008) no less than 54 cars on the grid! This is a truly unique experience and an action packed event!
